Removing the Casing to Install the Indoor Unit
How to Remove the Casing
(1) Remove the plastic cover. (Fig. 3-48)
(2) Remove the clamp for the wiring connector.
(Fig. 3-49)
(3) Disconnect the 2 wiring connectors. (Fig. 3-50)
(4) Set the flap in the horizontal position. (Fig. 3-51)
(5) Remove the 3 screws. (Fig. 3-51)
(6) Remove the casing. (Fig. 3-51)
When replacing the casing, be careful not to crush
the lead wires between the casing and the frame.

3-17. Removing the Grille to Install the Indoor Unit
Basically, this model can be installed and wired with-
out removing the grille. If access to any internal part
is needed, follow the steps as given below:
How to remove the grille
(1) Set the 2 flaps in the horizontal position.
(2) Unscrew the 3 screws. (Fig. 3-52)
(3) Remove the grille.
(a) Hold both corners of the air intake grille, then
pull out and up to open. (Fig. 3-53)
(b) Use a standard screwdriver to push up the 3
tabs to remove the grille. (Fig. 3-53)
(c) Pull the lower part of the grille toward you to
remove. (Fig. 3-52)
