OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
11. Finishing of sterilization
#lf the sterilization finishes, the buzzer will sound a
beep and the Heating Process Indicator lamp will
flushes to indicate that sterilization is finished. The
digital indicator lamp will display the temperature of
inside the chamber.
# When sterilizing instruments (exclude liquid items to
be sterilized;) and if you are in a hurry to remove
them, turn the KHEX5H1 knob counterclockwise. Af-
ter allowing the steam to escape, be sure to close
the
EXHAUST
[nob by turning it clockwise.
Do not open the EXHAUST knob when sterilizing cul-
tures, chemicals or other items that could boil over.
Opening the EXHAUST knob or turning off the power
switch could cause the contents of the containers to
splatter on the walls of the chamber, possibly leading to
malfunctions because of clogged pipes and valves.
12. Returning to atmospheric pressure
#A short beep sounds followed by a longer one to
indicate that the pressure inside the chamber is the
same as the pressure outside. The items of the
chamber inside are still hot, so wait until the buzzer
of completion sounds and the indicator lights of
completion before removing.
When the buzzer will sound at the temperature shown in
the right figure. At different elevations the buzzer may
sound at slightly different temperatures. This is not a
malfunction.
