PREPARATION

camcorder
The
AC
adaptor/charger
is
used
to
power
the
camcorder
indoors,
where
an
AC
outlet
is
available.
It
is
also
used
to
recharge
your
battery
pack(s).
The
supplied
AC
adaptor/charger
can
be
used
in
any
country
where
the
standard
voltage
is
between
100
V
and
240
V
AC.
In
countries
where
a
differently
shaped
plug
is
used,
a
plug
adaptor
must
be
used.

Connect
the
DC
connecting
cord
from
the
DC
output

the
AC
adaptor/charger
to
the
DC
input

on
the
back
of
the
camcorder,

Plug
the
AC
adaptor/charger
power
cord
into
an
AC
outlet.

Note:
For
this
product
use
the
supplied
AC
adaptor/
charger
(conforming
to
the
EIA
Japanese
standard,
with
a
unified
polarity
type
plug).
Use
of
another
AC
adaptor/charger
may
cause
trouble.
A:
Keep
your
feet
slightly
apart,
and
the
upper
arms
close
to
the
body.
Hold
the
camcorder
horizontally.
When
possible
rest
your
elbows
on
a
table,
or
your
back
on
a
wall,
etc.
for
more
stability.
B:
Raise
the
viewfinder,
for
a
comfortable
low
angle
recording
position.
The
viewfinder
can
be
raised
up
to
about
75°.
C:
Use
a
tripod
for
jitter-free
pictures.
Mi
Use
the
grip
belt
to
carry
the
camcorder
Holding
it
as
shown
in
the
illustration
below
might
damage
the
camcorder
or
some
of
its
components.
Remove
the
cassette
tape
when
the
unit
is
not
being
used.
