Overview

The Acculab ATILON series comprises 11 models of analytical and precision balances, designed for high-end technology and low-end pricing. These balances are suitable for various applications, including those requiring legal metrology. They offer a comprehensive variety of features and outstanding performance, making them a versatile tool for laboratories and other settings.

Function Description

The ATILON balances are primarily used for precise weighing. They offer several application programs to enhance functionality:

  • Counting: Determines the number of parts that have approximately equal weight. Users can set a reference sample quantity and the balance calculates the total number of parts.
  • Weighing in Percent: Allows users to obtain weight readouts in percent, relative to a reference weight.
  • Calculation: Enables calculation of weight values using a multiplier or divisor. This can be used for determining weight per unit area or "gsm" weight.
  • Animal Weighing/Averaging: Designed to determine the weights of unstable samples (e.g., live animals) or to determine weights under unstable ambient conditions. The balance calculates the average of a defined number of individual weighing operations.
  • Net-total Formulation: Allows users to weigh individual components and obtain both the total weight and the individual weights of the components. Up to 99 components can be stored.
  • Totalizing: Adds successive, mutually independent weight values to a total that exceeds the capacity of the balance.
  • Density Determination: Determines the density of solid substances using the buoyancy method. Results can be displayed with one or no decimal place.
  • Mass Unit Conversion: Changes the weight value displayed from the basic weight unit to any of 4 application weight units.

The balances also feature a built-in, motorized calibration at the touch of a key, available on all models, with standard or verified models for legal metrology.
