System description and installation
CA-64 SATEL
the identifier of the subsystem, which “is responsible” for the system (for example,
subsystem, where the control panel is installed).
For E format, assignation of partition, zones, keypads and expanders to identifiers
does not need to reflect the division of the system into subsystems. But it is
essential to program the value different than “0”. The control panel transmits all
events in the subsystem with a single identifier according to division of system
components between subsystems.
For the operation mode “Station 1 or Station 2” (and “Station N only”, with dialling
both numbers), it is not possible to select format F for only one number and
another format for the remaining numbers, because it may occur that the event
transmitted in format F cannot be converted into type 4/2 code.
For pulse formats, individual events are assigned to identifiers. This allows optimum
utilisation of the available space for codes (8 x 225 codes = 1800 codes) – events
from smaller subsystems may be grouped with a single identifier, and several
identifiers may be assigned for larger subsystems.
Event codes are programmed after the division is made. Program DLOAD64 (and
corresponding service functions) shows all events assigned to the identifier to
facilitate correct programming of codes (the fields for only those codes, which will be
transmitted with the identifier, appear in the event code window – see Figure 7).
Fig. 7. Programming of monitoring codes for pulse formats.
System events and failures are transmitted with their own identifier. Figure 8 shows
the events assigned to this identifier.
