CA-64 SATEL
Messaging
Function of messaging, featured by the control panel CA-64, allows informing on alarms with
messages sent from voice synthesisers or transmitted to pagers. Messaging is made
independently from monitoring, where monitoring has priority. If during messaging events
occur on which the control panel must inform the monitoring station, monitoring will be
included between pieces of information.
Messages may be transmitted to 16 phone numbers. It is possible to send 16 different vocal
messages and 64 different pager messages.
When reporting with the use of vocal messages, it is possible to confirm the message
receipt. A special code, connected with a telephone number, is used for that purpose (it is
possible to establish any code – four digits transmitted with DTMF mean the receipt of a
message). The control panel confirms code receipt with a special signal. If there is a number
of messages to transmit to a single phone number, all these messages are transmitted
during a single phone-call. In this event, the signal confirming that the message is received is
different (which informs that further messages should be awaited).
