The drive unit (shown in Figure 2 below) has the following components:
•Gear box
•Motor
•Handwheel
• Brake release lever
Note that the lower guide rail shown in Figure 2 is not part of the drive unit; it
is shown for reference only.

The pendant control (shown in Figure 3 below) has UP and DOWN arrow
buttons to move the lift up and down the stairway, an alarm button and a red
emergency STOP button to stop the lift in an emergency. When not in use, hang
the pendant control on the safety arm using the hook at the back of the control.
