Washing
Preparation
Check that:
u the wall switch is turned on.
u all water taps are turned on.
The machine is ready for use when all pilot lamps are
flashing or are switched off in standby mode. If one pilot
lamp remains on, proceed as follows
:
Use the Quick Wash button to go to the Programme
esnd position, until the pilot lamp illuminates.
Wait until the pilot lamp flashes and operate the «Open
door» button (remove laundry if necessary).
Opening the loading door
u Press the «Open door» button.
l The loading door springs open.
u Note: The loading door only springs open if the
main power supply is switched on.
Selecting the wash programme
u Press the programme button
l The control light for the selected programme lights
up.
l The display shows the wash temperature, the selec›
ted programme and the programme duration.
Selecting additional programmes
u Press the desired selector button (see chapter
«
Addi tional program mes»).
l
The text for the selected additional programme appe›
ars
on the display.
Select additional functions
After selecting the programme, the control light for the
additional functions that can be selected if required will
flash.
u Press desired function button(s).
(See chapter «Additional Functions»).
l The control light(s) for the selected function(s) will
light up.
l The new programme values such as time and spin
speed will be displayed.
Adding laundry
u Place the laundry loosely in the drum, small and
large pieces mixed together.
Closing the door
u Close the door by pushing it until the lock audibly
engages.
u Ensure that no items of laundry are trapped
between the door and the rubber seal.
If the door is not closed, a safety switch prevents the
machine from starting.
Adding the detergent
Dose the detergent according to the chapter
«Detergent dispenser»
Starting the programme
u Lightly press the Start button.
l The pilot lamp illuminates and the programme runs
through automatically.
With child lock activated:
u Hold down the Quick wash button and actuate the
Start button.
Note
u Machines with Wash›Card module (see chapter
Wash›Card).
Programme time / programme status
The individual programme steps and remaining time
are displayed during the washing programme.
Changing the programme before starting
u Lightly press the desired programme button once
again.
l All pilot lamps for the selected additional functions
flash again and all settings are deleted.
u Select any additional functions that may be needed.
