What to do if my Schumacher SL1397 won't jump start my car?

If your Schumacher Remote Starter isn't jump-starting your car, there are several potential reasons. First, the clamps might not be making a solid connection to the battery or frame; ensure these connection points are clean and well-connected. The connections could also be reversed; disconnect the jump starter and reverse the clamps. The jump starter's battery might not be charged; press the Battery Status button to check its charge level. Also, make sure that the jump starter is turned on by pressing the ON/OFF switch. Finally, the vehicle's battery could be defective, in which case you should have it checked.
