Quick Reference Guide
Successful Instrument Washing
• Remove composite, cement and amalgam at chairside
• Do not put burs in Hydrim
• Do not allow instruments to dry for longer than one hour before
processing in Hydrim
• Load cassettes and baskets according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
Do not overload.
• For cassettes and hinged instruments, use the heavy-duty cycle
• Place small / light items in the basket with lid
• Do not put anodized aluminum instruments in Hydrim
How to Use Hydrim
1. Turn the machine ON
2. Touch the screen to begin
3. Touch the unlock symbol
4. Load instruments / cassettes into the machine
5. Close the door
6. Touch the desired cycle. The door will be locked during the cycle.
7. When the “cycle complete” message appears, touch the unlock
symbol and unload.
