Make sure the BOOTP button on the GC is in the “upper” position and
switch on the 436-GC/456-GC.

When the MAC address appears select the address and press the validate button.

Fill in the IP address and the host name or description and press apply.

Go to the Organization bar and select System to create a new system.

Create a new instrument and select the Acquisition and Sequence server and press

Add the devices (example 436-GC/456-GC and NO sampler)
