Why does my Sebo Automatic X4 turn off and on?

  Your Sebo Vacuum Cleaner might be shutting off intermittently due to several reasons. It could be a faulty connection because the handle isn't fully inserted into the bag housing. Try releasing the handle catch, pushing the handle down, and closing the handle catch. Another cause may be that it's not plugged into a working outlet, so try a different outlet. A worn cable could also be the culprit, in which case you should replace it. Lastly, ensure the bag housing is correctly locked on top of the power head, with the housing release button snapped outward to its locked position.

Try reinserting the bag and locking the cover release flap down firmly. Another reason could be that the bag isn't inserted properly; reinsert it with the cover release flap up until it's firmly latched in the bag holder. Lastly, the microfilter might not be properly inserted. Lift the safety lever and insert the filter with the vertical plastic ridge facing you.
