Usage Features

The SYS-C31-DMV is intended for use by ordinary people and installers (expert users), with a strong emphasis on safety and proper installation. Users are required to read the manual thoroughly before commencing any operation. The device is equipped with an identification plate on its side, displaying crucial information such as the part number (P/N: SYS-C31-DMV-01-10), serial number (S/N: YYMMXXXXX), input power (12 VDC - 5A Max.), and FCC/IC IDs (XMR201903EG25G, 2ALZB-AW276, 22688-AW276, 10224A-201903EG25G). This plate is essential for identification and must not be removed or obscured.

The device is designed for fastening onto industrial machines using threaded pins directly on a mechanical plate. It features a back cover with four universal fastening points for secure integration. The physical dimensions of the device are 177 mm in length, 150 mm in width, and 26 mm in height. The center-to-center distance of the fastening holes on the main body is 50 mm, and on the flanges, it is 162.8 mm.

Connectivity options include multiple USB ports (USB 3.0 Type-A, USB Type-C, USB 2.0 Type-A), HDMI for video output, and two RJ45 Ethernet LAN ports. For serial communication, it provides two RS232 ports on D-SUB DB9 MALE connectors and two RS485 ports. Operations on the device must be performed by specialized and authorized personnel only, always after disconnecting the electrical power supply. The electrical voltage must match the manual's specifications. The device must always be fixed to a machine before operation. It must be connected to a supply main with protective earth. Modifying the appliance, covering it during operation, or changing the antenna are strictly forbidden as they compromise characteristics and certifications. The device (antenna) must be installed and used more than 20 cm away from the human body.

Maintenance Features

Maintenance primarily involves cleaning the device. Users should clean the product with a dry cloth when necessary, based on visual inspection. Before cleaning, the device must be disconnected from any power source. The enclosure should only be cleaned with a dry cloth, and liquids of any kind must not be poured on the device to prevent fires or electric shocks. After cleaning, users should verify that the product is still correctly installed.

The warranty is voided if safety regulations are not complied with, the device is tampered with, safety conditions in the management software are altered, the device is used improperly, operations are performed by untrained/unauthorized personnel, changes or repairs are made without manufacturer authorization, instructions are not followed, there are defects in the power supply, maintenance is poor, non-original spare parts are used, or in the event of exceptional events like floods or fires not triggered by the device.

Waste Disposal

When the electrical equipment is no longer in use, it must not be disposed of with normal municipal waste.
