On the rear panel, Secure Elite Elite 103-2, ELite 303-2,Elite 307-2 has an RS-485 communication socket as shown in the following

figure.

1. Please unscrew the RS485 terminal as shown in Figure S1.

2. Connect the cables to the RS485 bus terminal blocks.

3. Please make the connections from Terminal Block chip to TrackSo IoT

Gateway as mentioned in the Table – ST1.

Usage Features

Connection to TrackSo IoT Gateway:

Unscrew the RS485 terminal on the meter.
Connect cables to the RS485 bus terminal blocks.
Connect the terminal block chip to the TrackSo IoT Gateway using the specified pin assignments:
- Secure Pin 1 (A) to TrackSo Pin 3 (D+)
- Secure Pin 2 (B) to TrackSo Pin 4 (D-)
- Secure Pin 3 (SG) to TrackSo Pin 2 (GND)
- The TrackSo IoT Gateway also provides +12V (Pin 1) for power.

Configuration at the Meter End (Setup Mode):

Accessing Setup Mode: From the default display, press the '▼' and '✔' buttons once.
Password Entry: The Setup Mode is password-protected. The default password is '0000'.
- Enter the 4-digit password using '▼' and '✔' buttons.
- Press '✔' to confirm.
- Correct password grants access to the configuration mode.
- Incorrect password displays 'Incorrect' and returns to the Setup Mode page after 5 seconds or immediately by pressing '✔'.
Setting Baud Rate:
1. Navigate to the 'Communication' option in the Setup Menu.
2. Select 'BD RATE' and press '✔'.
3. Use left/right buttons to select the desired baud rate (1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 bps).
4. Press '✔' to confirm the selection.
Setting MODBUS ID:
1. Navigate to the 'Communication' option in the Setup Menu.
2. Select 'MODBUS ID' and press '✔'.
3. Enter the desired ID from 1 to 247.
4. Press '✔' to confirm and save the selection.
Saving Configurations: After making all configuration updates, select the 'Save' option to activate the new settings.
Exiting Configuration: To return to the previous page, press '✔' or wait for 5 seconds. To exit the 'COMM' page and return to the Setup menu, move the selection bar over the 'Quit' option and then press '✔'.

Connecting Multiple Meters: The guide illustrates a setup for connecting multiple meters (Meter 1, Meter 2, ..., Meter n) to the TrackSo IoT Gateway via RS485. Each meter connects to the gateway's RS485 terminals (D+, D-, GND).
