How to temporary switch off the microphone (mute)
If you wish to switch off the microphone in the
handset during a conversation, press the key
; the led next to the key will flash quickly.
To re-activate the microphone press the key
again.
How to end a call and release your telephone
Upon completion of a conversation, in order to
release the connection, replace the handset or
press the key .

Hands free conversations
Your telephone obviously allows you to perform hands free (on-hook)
conversations or to increase the volume of the conversation in order to allow
other colleagues to participate.
We will now advise you of some points in order to make better use of this
service:
- always let the person with whom you are in conversation know that you using
the hands free facility;
- it’s advisable to let them know the names of the people present;
- speak with the normal volume of your voice, but speak facing the telephone;
- do not position yourself further than 1 metre from the telephone and if the
room is particulary noisy, position yourself closer to the telephone or limit the
use of the service to the necessary distance;
- the hands free service is implemented within the telephone with a circuit that
uses automatic balancing between the local voices and those of the connected
party. It’s advisable however not to interrupt the connected party while
speaking in order to avoid the splitting of the phonic signal.
How to activate an hands free conversation
Press the key followed by the key ; the
leds next to the keys will continuously alight and
you will be in “hands free” mode.
