SAEfon CL - Operating instructions
1. INTRODUCTION
The SAEfon CL telephone sets are multifunctional digital telephones,
specifically designed for exchanges of SELTATEL line: they allow to
use advanced voice services and will quickly become a practical and
functional instrument for your personal communications.
The most significant characteristics of these telephones include: a
large alphanumeric display, multicolor LEDs, amplified listening, use
of headset, wall mounting possibility, programmable keys for the
immediate execution of customized functions, telephone book and
calls log services.
This booklet provides a description of performances and services
offered by SAEfon CL telephones.
2. SAFETY
Please, read the following safety advice carefully before using a SAEfon CL
telephone:
Read these instructions and keep them in a safe place.
Keep the containing box of the telephone.
Never open up the telephone yourself and have your service work carried out by
a specialist.
Place your telephone on a flat and non-slip surface.
Ensure that your telephone is not positioned in direct sunlight or near other heat
sources.
Do not install or use your telephone in areas where there is a risk of explosion.
Protect the telephone from humidity, water, steam, dust and aggressive liquids.
Do not place the telephone near electromagnetic fields (electric engines,
household units). This could impair voice quality.
Avoid using the telephone near radios, TV and video units.
Do not use the telephone near water or if your hands are wet.
You can clean your telephone, after having disconnected it, using a soft, slightly
damp or antistatic cloth.
Never use cleaning solvents, alcohol, petrol or any other chemical substances to
clean the telephone.
Use the telephone in a temperature range from +5°C to +40°C.
Only connect the connecting cable to a socket intended for digital telephones.
Never replace the connector of the connecting cable.
SAEfon CL telephones are intended exclusively for the use with SELTATEL
exchanges.
