How to execute dialling using a data terminal
To execute a data call, enter from the
terminal’s keyboard the characters “AT&K1” -
“ATD” followed by the “desired number to be
called” and then press the “return” key; if the
called user/terminal is available the messages
“ACCEPTED” - “CONNECTED” will be
received sequentially, otherwise the messages
“ACCEPTED” - “ENGAGED” will be received;
in this second case, enter the characters
“ATZ” at the keyboard in order to release your
telephone.
In order to answer a data call, enter from the
terminal’s keyboard the characters “ATD” and
then press the “return” key”. The message
“CONNECTED” will be seen on the screen.
To release a data connection, enter three
characters “.”, wait one second at least and
enter one more character “.”; the monitor will
then display the “OK” message; enter
characters “ATZ” and then press the “return”
key.
To return in “manually” mode, press the “data
call” function key; the led next to the key will
flash. Dial the “set-up manual reply to data
call” code ; the led next to the key
will flash slowly.
Press the “data call” function key; the led next
to the key will be extinguished.
