Telephone set utilities
Upon selecting this item the following sub-menu is displayed:
RESETS
reset set up
TEST
telephone test
VERS
dislpay telephone software version
- the RESETS item requests that a personal pin code is entered (if previously
programmed). Before cancelling the personal data (CANC) it is possible to
undo the operation (UNDO) and then exit from the menu (ESC);
- the TEST item allows the following two telephone tests to be run:
LAMPT
lamps test
KEYBT
keyboard test
During the lamps test, all the lamps associated with the function keys will be
continuously alights. To exit press any keys.
During the keyboard test the sequence of the keys to be press on the keyboard
will be displayed; every time a key is pressed a ring tone will be heard. In case
of test failure, you automatically exit from the menu, and the message
“KEYBOARD TEST FAILED!” will be displayed.
- the VERS item allows the version number of the telephone’s software to be
displayed:
SAEFON/x.xx DD-MM-YY
to exit press any key.

The DISPL item, allows the contrast of the display (LEV01 - LEV10) to be
adjusted. Quick access to this contrast adjustment facility can be achieved by
pressing the VOLUME - and DIGIT 4 key simultaneously while the telephone is
on hook.
