PROGRAMMING TELEPHONE WITHOUT DISPLAY
On the SAEfon without display it is possible to programm the following services
with the assistance of acoustic and optical signals,:
KEY FUNCTIONS SET UP
PHONE DIRECTORY SET UP
HEADSET SET UP
OFF HOOK RING
AUTOMATIC HANDS FREE
RINGER VOLUME
RINGER RHYTHM
RINGER CADENCE
RESET SET UP
LAMPS TEST
KEYBOARD TEST

Note: during programming, a short acoustic tone indicates the right
manoeuvre and a long one indicates the wrong manoeuvre; you can exit to
the procedure in every moment, without change the previous
programmation, lifting the handset.
Key functions set up
To program each function:
- press the VOLUME - and DIGIT 8 keys simultaneously;
- press the function key to be modifed (i.e. KY01): if it is impossible to modify the
key (due to SAE exchange protection) you hear a long tone, otherwise the led
next to the key flash and you hear a short tone;
- press the 3 digit functional code.
The functional code available are as follows:
000 NOT USED (delete function)
101-124 EXT/INT01-24 with ring on
201-224 EXT/INT01-24 with ring off
301-320 DIRECT KEY ABBREV. DIAL
(only if the abbreviated number is programmed)
400 EXTERNAL CALL
401 INTERNAL CALL
402 MESSAGE
403 DATA CALL
404 VOICE/DATA CALL
