Setting
the
date,
time
and
measuring
units
2.1
Before
taking
measurements,
set
the
current
date,
time
and
measuring
unit.
The
measured
values
will
be
stored
in
memory
together
with
the
date
and
time
of
measurement.
2.2
After
inserting
the
batteries
all
the
elements
will
be
momentarily
lit
on
the
display.
In
the
bottom
left
corner
of
the
display
the
time
value
"year"
will
start
to
flash
and
the
device
is
ready
for
setup.
The
device
will
turn
itself
off
automatically
if
you
do
not
perform
any
settings
within
1
minute.
In
such
a
case
it is
necessary
to
activate
the
settings
mode
іп
the
following
way.
Press
the
SET
Y
button.
The
clock
will
appear
on
the
screen.
Press
the
SET
У
button
again
and
hold
it
down
for
approx.
3
seconds.
In
the
bottom
left
corner
the
value
"year"
will
start
to
flash.
The
device
is
ready
to
be
set
up.

Use
the
MEM
А
button
to
set
the
current
year.
Confirm
the
setting
by
pressing
the
SET
У
button.
The
device
will
automatically
switch
to
the
month
setting
mode.

Use

MEM
А
button
to
set
the
current
month.
Confirm
the
setting
by
pressing
the
SET
V
button.
The
device
will
automatically
switch
to
the
day
setting
mode.

Set
the
current
day
of
the
month
using
the
MEM
А
button.
Confirm
the
setting
by
pressing
the
SET

button.
The
device
will
automatically
switch
to
the
hour
format
setting
mode.

Press
the
MEM
А
button
to
set
12-hour
or
24-hour
time
format.
Confirm
the
setting
by
pressing
the
SET

button.
The
device
will
automatically
switch
to
the
hour
setting
mode.

Use
the
MEM
А
button
to
set
the
current
hour.
Confirm
the
setting
by
pressing
the
SET
У
button.
The
device
will
automatically
switch
to
the
minute
setting
mode.

Use
the
MEM

button
to
set
the
current
minutes.
Confirm
the
setting
by
pressing
the
SET
У
button.
The
device
will
automatically
switch
to
the
measuring
unit
selection
mode.

Select
the
measuring
unit
mmHg
or
kPa
using
the
MEM
А
button.
Confirm
the
setting
by
pressing
the
SET

button.
Note:

The
standard
measuring
unit
for
the
measurement
of
blood
pressure
is
mmHg
(millimetres
of
a
mercury
column).
2.10
Setup
of
the
date,
time
and
measuring
units
is
complete.
The
device
will
gradually
show
the
set
values
and
then
turn
itself
off
automatically.
Note:

2000-2050,
time
format:
12-hour

In
the
12-hour
time
format
the
morning/afternoon
time
is
indicated
by
the
abbreviation
AM/PM.
3.
Measurement
3.1
Basic
instructions
for
achieving
the
most
accurate
measuring
results
.
Always
take
measurements
at
the
same
time
of
day,
ideally
in
the
morning,
at
noon
and
in
the
evening
under
the
same
conditions
or
according
to
the
recommendations
of
your
doctor.
°
Do
not
perform
measurement
sooner
than
30-45
minutes
after
consuming
coffee,
tea
or
smoking
a
cigarette.
•
Wait
at
least
20
minutes
after
taking
а
hot
shower
or
bath.
Wait
approximately
4-5
minutes
before
measuring
again.
3.2
Attaching
the
cuff
and
correct
posture
of
the
body
and
hand
during
measurement
.
Remove
any
clothing,
watches,
bracelets
from
the
left
wrist,
etc.
before
attaching
the
cuff.
•
Attach
the
cuff
їо
the
left
wrist
so
that
the
display
of
the
blood
pressure
monitor
is
оп
the
same
side
as
your
palm.
The
top
edge
of
the
cuff
should
be
located
1
to
1.5
cm
under
the
wrist
joint.
Wind
the
cuff
around
the
wrist
and
tighten
it.
There
should
be
no
space
between
the
cuff
and
the
wrist.
