Important safety instructions
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
■ This appliance may not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its
power cord away from children.
■ The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or with alack of experience and knowledge, if they are
supervised or have been instructed to use the appliance in asafe manner
and understand the potential dangers.
■ Children must not play with the appliance.
■ In the event that the power cord is damaged, have it repaired at aprofessional
service centre to prevent causing adangerous situation. It is forbidden to
use the appliance if it has adamaged power cord.
■ There is apotential risk of injury when it is used incorrectly.
■ Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply when leaving it
without supervision and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
■ This appliance is designed for household use only. It is not intended for
use in locations such as:
– staff kitchens in stores, offices and other workplaces;
– hotel or motel rooms and other living areas;
– agricultural farms;
– bed and breakfast establishments.
■ Do not submerge the appliance, the power cord or the power plug in water
or in any other liquid.
■ Prevent the power cord and power plug from coming into contact with
water or another liquid.
■ Wash the glass kettle, removable filter, removable filter holder and filter
lid in warm water with asmall amount of neutral dishwashing detergent.
Rinse under clean running water and dry well.
■ Use the appliance according to the instructions in the user'smanual.
Otherwise, injuries, damage to the appliance or adangerous situation
may result.
■ The surface of the hotplate retains residual heat after use.
■ The appliance is intended exclusively for brewing filtered coffee. Use the
appliance only for the purposes for which it was designed.
