Testing the Installation
Cycle the units several times to test:
° curtain assembly seal
° diode
° curtain rewind switch
To conduct cycle tests:
1. Simulate an alarm by closing the alarm circuit. (Connect all 4 low voltage wires—
the 2 diode wires and the 2 wires from the box.)
The curtain deploys.
2. Verify that the magnets cover BOTH rails COMPLETELY and the threshold seals
along its FULL length at the floor.
3. After the curtain has been deployed a few seconds, press the rewind switch on
the curtain.
The curtain rewinds temporarily and redeploys.
4. Use the inside of the rewind switch to rewind temporarily.
5. Set the system back in a ready state by opening the alarm circuit. (Undo step 1.)
6. If the installation includes the optional wall switch, deploy and rewind using the
wall switch.
If you have problems with the unit, check the status lights on the bottom of the housing
against the chart in Appendix C, page 29,
