Preparing the Unit for the Electrical Contractor and Alarm

To prepare the unit for the electrical contractor:
° With the curtain in the housing, use the door key to pull the door open.
° Turn the power OFF inside the housing.
° Disconnect the battery.
° Disconnect the diode and return it to the junction box.
° Leave the Wiring Guide for the electrical contractor.
Setting the unit in a ready state
When the electrical contractor has wired the diode at the smoke detector (or other
initiating device) and wired the unit to building power:
° Use the door key to pull the door open.
° Turn the power ON inside the housing.
° Connect the battery.
