ENERGY SAVING
After 30 minutes of downtime, the machine enters automatically the energy saving mode (on button ❽ flashing
blue every 5 seconds). Anyway, it is possible to enter the energy saving mode at any time by keeping the on
button pressed for 3 seconds ❽.
PROLONGED MACHINE INACTIVITY
If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, it is advisable to:
• Turn it off and disconnect it.
• Empty the water tank.
• Empty the capsule collection tray.
Using the appliance for the rst time after a long inactivity period, it is recommended to run a rinse cycle, deliver-
ing around half a tank of water using a cup (for more details see also Chapter "FIRST USE").
DRIP TRAY CLEANING
The tray ❼ has to be rinsed thoroughly in order to remove any coffee residues.
It can be washed with hot water and dishes liquid detergent or specic washing powder for eliminating coffee
residues.
Note: the tray is dishwasher safe.
WATER TANK
The tank ❾ has to be cleaned weekly with dishes liquid detergent.
The water in the tank has to be changed every day. It is advisable to use good quality water with low mineral
content but not de-ionised or distilled.
Note: the water tank is dishwasher safe.
WARNING: Fill the tank ❾ with clean and cold water. Never ll the tank ❾ with carbonated
water, milk or other liquid.
After washing the tank ❾ make a dispensing wash cycle of the machine.
