STORAGE
- Aged fuel is one of the major causes of engine starting
failure. Before storing the unit, empty the fuel tank and run the
engine until it uses all the fuel left in the fuel line and the
carburetor. Store the unit indoors taking necessary measures
for rust prevention.
- Keep product, user manual and accessories in the original
packaging.
- Clean tool before storage.
- Perform maintenance operations and proper cleaning before
storage.
- For prolonged periods of storage, drain the oil and gasoline
from the tanks, and lubricate the chain and moving parts.
- Always lubricate the cutter blades with protective oil spray
before storage.
- Store the machine with the supplied cutter blade protection
cover.
- It is recommended to store the product in a clean, dry loca-
tion, protected from humidity, frost and dust, and keep it out
of children’s reach (e.g. high or in a locked up place).
- Do not store product in temperatures lower than 0ºC
(32ºF)
- Do not place or store any object on top of the product.
