Make sure to rinse and dry them thoroughly before putting them back in the vacuum. * Also, the dust cup might be full, so empty it. * Inspect the hose, hose connections, wand, nozzles, and any attachments for blockages and clear them if necessary. * Remove any string, carpet fibers, or hair that might be wrapped around the brushroll. * Try rotating the suction release collar on the handle clockwise to increase the suction power.

Disconnect the nozzle and remove any blockages before reconnecting and turning the vacuum back on. * With the power on, recline the handle, as this will automatically turn on the brushroll. * Ensure that the On/Off switch is set to the “II” position, which activates the Brushroll.

  Your Shark Vacuum Cleaner may turn off automatically, or the indicator light might flash red due to a couple of reasons: * The vacuum may be overheating, causing the thermostat to shut off the suction motor. To resolve this, turn off and unplug the vacuum. Empty the dust cup and clean the filters. Check for any blockages in the hose, accessories, and inlet openings. Let the unit cool down for at least 45 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. * A poor electrical connection, possibly from the hose not being fully connected, can also cause this.
