  If your Shark vacuum overheats, the thermostat will automatically turn the unit off. To resolve this: 1. Move the On/Off switch to the 'O' (Off) position. 2. Unplug the vacuum. 3. Empty the dust cup and clean the filters. 4. Check for blockages in the hose, accessories, and inlet openings. 5. Allow the unit to cool for at least 45 minutes. 6. Plug in the vacuum. 7. Turn the On/Off switch to the 'I' (On) position to restart the vacuum.

  If your Shark Vacuum Cleaner has no suction or light suction, it could be due to several reasons: * The dust cup may be full. Empty the dust cup. * The filters may need cleaning. Check and clean the filters, then allow them to dry completely before re-inserting. * There may be blockages in the hose, hose connections, nozzles, or accessories. Check and clear any blockages. * The suction release on the hose may be open. Close it to increase suction power. * If the dust cup is empty and attachment inlets are clear, check for other blockages.

  If the motorized floor brush has become jammed or has shut off, immediately turn off and unplug the vacuum. Disconnect the nozzle and remove the blockage before reconnecting and turning the vacuum back on.
