Remove dust cup to access foam
and felt filters. Next, press down
top of filter door. Tilt filter door
and lift out. Press tab at top of
HEPA filter and pull away from
the base of the vacuum.
To reinstall, insert HEPA filter into
unit and replace the filter door.
Wash filters every 3 months to keep the suction strong.
Rinse filters with water only and allow to air-dry completely.
Tap loose dirt from foam filters as needed between washes.

Its design allows for easy conversion between a traditional upright vacuum and a portable unit for extended reach.

Assembly: The vacuum cleaner is designed for straightforward assembly. Key components include the vacuum pod, handle and hose, wand, hose clip, 5.5" crevice tool, and pet power brush. Users simply click these parts into place to assemble the unit. Ensuring all parts are firmly clicked into place is crucial for proper operation.

Floor Cleaning: The Shark Rotator Pet Plus offers two distinct modes for floor cleaning:

  • Hard Floor Mode: For hard floor surfaces, users press the power switch to position 'I'.
  • Carpet Mode: For low and high pile carpet cleaning, the power switch is set to position 'II'. To engage the brushroll for carpet cleaning, the user steps on the floor nozzle and tilts the handle back.

Suction Control: The vacuum features adjustable suction control, allowing users to customize the suction power based on the floor type.

  • MIN setting: Reduces suction and increases maneuverability on carpets, making it easier to push and pull.

Maintenance Features

Emptying the Dust Cup: The dust cup should be emptied after each use to maintain optimal performance. The design allows for easy removal and emptying, ensuring that collected debris is disposed of efficiently.
