AUDIO-MUTE ON:

of IF unit grounded, and read the
value then available on the voltmeter
(VTVM).
It should be approx. 4.5V.
5.
AUDIO-MUTE OFF:
Remove the grounding at pin
(4)
of IF unit.
6.
Adjust T301 so that the voltmeter indicates the
same value as in step 4 above.
AUDIO MUTE CHECKING
1.
Receive “PAL COLOUR BAR” signal.
2.
Set the Sound control at maximum position.
3.
Stop reception of “PAL COLOUR BAR” signal.
(Pull out the antenna)
4.
Check that no output of
400
Hz signal is heard
from the speaker.
