1.ApplyadampclothtocleantheT.V. monitorinsteadofliquidoraerosolcleaners.Donotuse
alcohol‐basedorammonia‐basedliquids.Makesuretheconsoleisunplugged.
2.Donotpushanyobjectsintothe
televisionequipmentthroughthecabinetslotssincetheycan
touchhazardousvoltagepointsorevenshortoutpartsthatmayresultinanelectricalshockor
fire.
3.Thistelevisionequipmentcomeswitha2‐wirepolarize dplug,whereoneoftheplug’sbladeis
biggerthantheother.Thisisasaf etyfeature.Ifyouareunabletoinserttheplugfullyintothe
outlettryreversingthe plug,astheplugwillonlyfitonewayintoapoweroutlet.Askanelectiri‐
cantosubstituteyouroldoutletforamoreup‐to‐dateoneifyourplugdoesnotfit.
4.Donotoverloadextensionscordsand/orwalloutletsasitmayresultinafireorelectrical
shock.
5.Donotuseattachmentsnotrecommendedbythetelevisionequipmentmanufacturerasthey
mayresultintheriskoffire,electricshockorotherpersonalinjury.
6.Onlyusethetypeofpowersourcesuggestedonthemarkinglabelincludedwhenusingthe
televisionequipment.
7.Unplugthetelevisionfromwalloutletduringalightningstormanddisconnecttheantenna.
Doingthismaypreventseriousdamagetothetelevisionequipmentfromlightningorpower‐line
surges.
8.Installanyoutsideantennasystemawa yfromanyoverheadpowerlinesoranyotherelectircal
lightandpowe rcircuits.Useextremecareasitmightbefataltocomeintocontactwithanyof
them.
9.Ifthetelevisionhasanoticablechangeinperformance,itistimetoserviceit.
10.Donotattempttoservicethisapplicanceyourselfasopeningorremovingcoversmayexpose
youtodangerousvoltageorotherhazards.Unplugtheequipmentandaskaqualifiedservice
technicianforassistanceifoneofthefollowingoccurs:
‐Whenthepowercordbecomesfrayedordamaged.
‐Ifliquidhasbeenspilledintothetelevisionequipment.
‐Ifthetelevisionequipmenthasbeenexposedtorainorwater.
‐Ifthetelevisionequipmenthasbeendroppedorthecabinethasbeendamaged.
