Clips area with luminance higher than the one specified in CLIP LUMINANCE according to the input HDR signal.
When PQ signal is input ............ Can be selected from OFF, ON, or TONE-MAPPING.
In addition, luminance can be configured from CLIP LUMINANCE. According to the setting,
video display is adjusted as follows.
OFF ON TONE-MAPPING
Displays up to 600 cd/m
2
following the
PQ curve.
Area with luminance higher than the
one set in CLIP LUMINANCE will be
clipped and displayed.
Displays to avoid excessive change
near the luminance set in CLIP
LUMINANCE.

When HLG signal is input .......... Can be selected from OFF or ON. According to the setting, video display is adjusted as follows.
OFF ON
Lowers the overall luminance and displays
so that the luminance of video is wholly
below the set luminance of the monitor.
Area higher than 600 cd/m

ON, OFF, and TONE-MAPPING of LUMINANCE CLIPPING can be configured in the following cases:
When COLOR MODE is BT.2100(PQ) or HDR AUTO(PQ).
When COLOR MODE is USER1 or USER2, CUSTOM SETTING is OFF, COLOR GAMUT is Rec.2020, and GAMMA(EOTF)
is SMPTE ST 2084(PQ).
When COLOR MODE is USER1 or USER2, CUSTOM SETTING is ON, Color gamut*

OFF and ON of LUMINANCE CLIPPING can be configured in the following cases:
When COLOR MODE is BT.2100(HLG) or HDR AUTO(HLG).

is HYBRID LOG GAMMA(HLG).
When COLOR MODE is USER1 or USER2, CUSTOM SETTING is ON, Color gamut*
