How to temporarily release the
V-CHIP block
The V-CHIP block is working and censors a broadcast,
“THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN BLOCKED!” displays.
Reactivating the temporarily released
V-CHIP block
You can reactivate the temporarily released V-CHIP
block as shown below.
Method 1:
Change to the other channel.
Method 2:
Switch off the TV power.
NOTE
• Performing any of the two above will activate the V-CHIP
block.
Press MUTE while the V-CHIP is working and
then the password entering menu displays.
Enter your 4-digit password with 0–9.
At this time V-CHIP block temporarily
releases.
Repeat steps 1 to 5 in TV Parental
Guidelines (TV Guidelines).
Press

to select “MOVIE RATING”.
Then press

/

to select desired setting.

Press / to select “V-CHIP”, then press /
 to select “ON”.
Your setting are now set into memory.
• If “V-CHIP” is not set to “ON”, the V-CHIP
setting will not work.
