Why is my Sharp Heat Pump remote control signal not received?
    • D
      Dawn JohnsJul 31, 2025
There could be several reasons why your Sharp Heat Pump remote control signal is not being received. It could be due to dead batteries (install new batteries), incorrectly installed batteries (install them in the indicated direction), a lighting fixture being too close or a fluorescent lamp burning out (change the light position or install a new fluorescent lamp), using a Sevick light (replace the light or change its position), an inappropriate operating position/angle (handle appropriately), an open or short circuit in the wiring of the light receiving section (replace the wires), a defective light receiving unit (replace the PWB), or dew condensation on the light receiving unit (take moisture-proof measures for the lead wire outlet).

What to do if my Sharp Heat Pump compressor does not start?
    • G
      Gina RomeroAug 5, 2025
If your Sharp Heat Pump compressor isn't starting, the issue might stem from several causes: an erroneous inter-unit connection (correct the wiring), a damaged IPM (replace the IPM), a dried-up electrolytic capacitor (replace it), a blown outdoor unit fuse (replace the fuse/diode bridge and/or the outdoor unit PWB assembly), a power supply voltage that's too low (ensure it's 198 V or higher), or a compressor lock (apply external impact or replace the compressor).

Why does my Sharp AY-ZP35PR operation stop and restart repeatedly?
    • R
      Ronald BoydAug 10, 2025
If your Sharp Heat Pump stops and restarts every few minutes, this could be due to a dried-up electrolytic capacitor (replace the electrolytic capacitor) or a layer short-circuit in the expansion valve coil (replace the coil).

    Sean PadillaAug 15, 2025
What to do if there is noise in TV/radio when using Sharp Heat Pump?
    • R
      Ryan PerezAug 15, 2025
If you're experiencing noise in your TV/radio while using your Sharp Heat Pump, it could be due to grounding wires not connected properly (connect them properly) or the TV/radio being placed too close to the outdoor unit (move it away).

How to fix Sharp AY-ZP35PR louvers that do not move?
    • M
      Marvin JohnstonAug 20, 2025
If the louvers on your Sharp Heat Pump aren't moving, check if they are caught in the sliding section (remove or correct the catching section), if the connector is disconnected (CN3, CN4 on relay PWB, louver motor side) (install it correctly), or if there's contact of solder on the PWB (connector section on PWB) (correct the contacting section).

    Kathleen BryantAug 25, 2025
What to do if my Sharp AY-ZP35PR indoor unit does not turn on?
    • S
      Sandra FuentesAug 26, 2025
If the indoor unit of your Sharp Heat Pump isn't turning on, it could be due to a cracked PWB (cracked pattern) or an open-circuit in FU1 (250 V, 2.5A). In both cases, replace the PWB.
