Main PWB failure to get started.
Are there 12V inputs at pins 1, 2 and 3 of
SC9001?
NO Check the power unit and harnesses.
YES
Is there AT5V output at TL9019? NO Check IC9004 (DC-DC converter for
AT5V) and its peripheral circuits.
YES
Are there 3.3V output signals coming
from pin 15 (MAIN_P-CON) of IC2501
(front microprocessor)?
NO
Is there 3.3V input signal coming from pin
40 (reset) of IC2501 (front microproces-
sor)?
NO
Check IC2502 (reset IC) and its
peripheral parts.
YES
YES
Is there 16MHz oscillation waveform at
pins 43 and 44 (clock) of IC2501 (front
microprocessor)?
NO
Check FL2501 (ceramic oscillator)
and its peripheral parts.
YES
Check the power of IC2501 (front micro-
processor), grounding and their periph-
eral circuits.
Is there D1.1V (PC) output at TL9016? NO Check IC9001 (1.1V DC-DC converter)
and its peripheral circuits.

Is there D1.8V (PC) output at TL9018? NO Check IC9003 (1.8V DC-DC converter)
and its peripheral circuits.

Y18 (D1CKERSTB) and N20

Is there 48MHz oscillation waveform at
X7201 (crystal oscillator)?

Check the A2 and A3 (XO/XI) terminals of
IC7201 (system LSI) and their peripheral
parts.

Are the signals as specified along the
AA6 (FRONT_RXD), AC6 (FRONT_TXD)
and AE6 (FL_BUSY) lines of IC7201
(system LSI)?
NO
Check the relevant terminal of IC7201
(front microprocessor) pins 21
(FRONT_TXD), 22 (FRONT_RXD) and
37 (FL_BUSY) of IC2501 (front micropro-
cessor).
Check IC8502 (NAND_FLASH), IC7801-
4 (DDR2 MEMORY) and their peripheral
circuits.
