How to remove the playback head
(See Fig. 12—1.)
. Remove the screw (A1) and back chassis spring (A2) to re-
move the back chassis.
. Remove the screw (A3) and subchassis spring (A4).
. Remove the stop washer (A5) to remove the subchassis.
. Remove the two screws (A6) to remove the playback head.
Note:
The playback head of this mechanism is supplied as a fin-
ished product with flexible PWB. When removing the flexi-
ble PWB, remove the soldered part on the main PWB side.
How to remove the driving belt (See Fig. 12 —2.)
Remove the stop washer (B1) to remove the drive trans-
“fhission gear (B2).
Remove the driving belt.
How to remove the FWD flywheel oo
(See Fig. 12—3.)
. Remove the driving belt.
. Remove the stop washer (C1) to remove the FWD flywheel.
. At this time, take care not to lose the two intermediate
washers.
How to remove the REV flywheel
(See Fig. 12—3.)
. Remove the driving belt.
. Remove the stop washer (D1) to remove the intermediate
pulley.
. Remove the stop washer (D2) to remove the REV flywheel.
. At this time, take care not to lose the two intermediate
washers.
How to remove the motor (See Fig. 12—4.)
. Remove the four soldered positions on the main PWB.
. Remove the driving bolt.
. Remove the two screws (E1) to remove the motor.
How to reinstall the parts
Install each part in the reverse order of the removal with
care.
