Why does my Sharp Dryer take so long to dry?
- PPaul HahnAug 15, 2025If your Sharp Dryer is taking longer than usual to dry clothes, several factors could be at play. The lint filter's surface may be clogged, so try washing it with lukewarm water. The heat exchanger might also be clogged and require washing. Ensure the ventilation grills in front of the machine are open to prevent the room temperature from rising excessively. Limescale buildup on the humidity sensor can also extend drying times, so clean the humidity sensor. Avoid overloading the dryer with laundry and select a higher spin speed on your washing machine to ensure laundry is sufficiently spun before drying.
