      If your Sharp LCD TV unit cannot be operated, it may be due to external influences such as lightning or static electricity. Try turning the power off, or unplug the AC cord and re-plug it in after 1 or 2 minutes, then try operating the unit again.

      If there is no sound on your Sharp LCD TV when connected to a PC, make sure the PC audio cable is properly connected. Also, check if the mute function is activated, or if the volume is set to the minimum.

    Why does Sharp LCD TV sometimes make a cracking sound?

      This is not a malfunction. The cracking sound from your Sharp LCD TV happens when the cabinet slightly expands and contracts according to changes in temperature. This does not affect the TV’s performance.
