Step 1
Make sure that the RFID Option cable is plugged into the USB Host
Port on the back of the printer.
Does the problem remain?
Step 2
Make sure that the RFID Option is installed immediately below the
base printer and above one or two optional trays.
Does the problem remain?
Step 3
Turn off the printer, and then turn it on.
Does the problem remain?

Check if the USB cable from the RFID Option is plugged into the
USB Host Port on the back of the printer.
Is the RFID Option cable plugged into the USB Host Port?
