What to do if the scanned image is clipped on Sharp MX-M350U Printer?
    • S
      Susan ScottSep 2, 2025
If the scanned image is clipped, it means the set original scanning size is smaller than the actual original size. To resolve this, set the scanner to the actual original size. If you intentionally set a smaller size, position the original using the guides, ensuring the area you wish to scan fits within the set scanning area. For example, when scanning an A4 original using a B5 setting, align the original using the scale at the left edge to fit the desired area into the B5 scanning area.

What to do if the received image data cannot be opened on Sharp Printer?
    • K
      Karen WilcoxAug 31, 2025
If the recipient of your scanned data can't open the file, it might be due to their viewer program not supporting the file format. To fix this, try selecting a different file type like TIFF or PDF, and/or a different compression format such as NONE, MH (G3), or MMR (G4) when sending the image data. Alternatively, use Sharpdesk or another viewer program that supports these file type and compression format combinations.

Why is Sharp MX-M350U asking for a password?
    • U
      ucarsonAug 29, 2025
If a password entry is requested, it is because a password was entered for the retention function. The password is needed when executing printing; if the password is not known, printing cannot be executed.

Why is two-sided printing not working on my Sharp MX-M350U Printer?
    • M
      Mallory RosarioAug 27, 2025
Ensure that two-sided printing is enabled in the printer driver. Also, it's possible that two-sided printing has been disabled in the administrator settings; if so, consult the administrator.

Why is my Sharp MX-M350U Printer on but not receiving data?
    • A
      Amanda SantiagoAug 26, 2025
First, ensure the USB cable is correctly connected to both the Sharp printer and your computer. Next, verify that you have installed the correct printer driver. Finally, confirm that the printer is selected in your software application or use a utility to check if the printer is registered on the network.

What to do if the recipient does not receive transmitted data from Sharp MX-M350U Printer?
    • S
      Stephanie CantrellAug 25, 2025
If the recipient isn't receiving transmitted data from your Sharp Printer, it's possible an incorrect destination was selected. Ensure you select the correct destination and that the stored information for that destination is accurate.
  • T
    Tina SullivanAug 23, 2025
Why the recipient does not receive data sent by e-mail (Scan to E-mail) from Sharp MX-M350U?
    • J
      jonessandraAug 23, 2025
If the recipient isn't receiving data sent via e-mail from the Sharp Printer's scan to e-mail function, it could be due to a size limit set by the administrator in the "Maximum size of data attachments" setting. The administrator can set a limit from 1 MB to 10 MB. Consult your administrator to select a suitable limit. Also, the mail server administrator might have a limit on the amount of data that can be sent in one e-mail. Try decreasing the amount of data sent by reducing the number of pages scanned, and ask your mail server administrator about the data limit for one e-mail transmission.
