Why is my Sharp All in One Printer not being detected on the network?

If your Sharp All in One Printer isn't being detected on the network, first ensure that the IP address of the printer is properly configured within the 'Network settings' in the machine's administrator settings. Also, confirm that your computer is connected to the same network as the printer. If they are on different sub-networks (Windows), click the [Specify condition] button and enter the printer's name (host name) or IP address to search for it. For Macintosh, if multiple AppleTalk zones exist, select the zone to which the printer is connected from the menu.
