Adjust
the
thrust
gap
about
0.1mm
to
0.3mm
by
adjusting
screw
on
the
flywheel
bracket.
After
finished
adjustment,
apply
a
drop
of
lacquer
on
the
screw.

1.
Connect
an
4
ohm
dummy
load
resistor
to
the
speaker
output
socket
(SO504
or
SO505).
2.
Connect
a
frequency
counter
across
the
4
ohm
resistor.
3.
Place
the
unit
in
a
horizontal
position
and
playback
the
test
tape
(TEAC
MTT-111,
250
PWB/mm
—10
dB,
3
kHz).
4.
Ensure
that
the
frequency
counter
indicates
within
3
kHz
+75
Hz
(2925
~
3075
Hz)
If
the
tape
speed
is
not
within
this
range,
clean
the
belt,
flywheel,
capstan,
pinch
roller
and
the
other
running
parts.
Check
the
torque
of
take-up
turntable
and
pressure
of
the
pinch
roller.
Neverthless
good
results
can
not
be
obtained,
replace
the
motor.
