Data Transfer Restrictions
There are some restrictions when sharing data between Organizers of
different models either directly from Organizer to Organizer, or indirectly
via a personal computer. These are imposed primarily by differences in
functions
supported
and
differences
in
maximum
permitted
length
of
entries.
Transferring
to
the
1Q-7000
series
or
ZQ-5000
series
Organizers
When transferring data from your Organizer (the ZQ-6100M/
ZQ-6300M) to these Organizers, the following conditions apply:
e Organizer to Organizer transfer
e Whole file and single entry transfer can be performed for the
MEMO, TEL and SCHEDULE modes.
e The maximum length of entry which can be edited after transfer
is 512 characters for MEMO entries, and 507 characters for TEL
entries. Any entry exceeding this limit can only be displayed.
e SCHEDULE entries exceeding 512 characters can be neither
displayed nor edited except for the |Q-7700 series which will
accept any entry ignoring all characters after the 512th.
e The maximum length of an entry transferred individually is:
e 1474 characters for MEMO mode.
1461 characters for TEL mode.
e 1414 characters for SCHEDULE mode.
e No limit for any mode in the IQ-7700 series.
Any entry exceeding these limits will not be accepted and
MEMORY FULL will be displayed.
