Use fuel with a gas/oil ratio 25:1. Always use 2-cycle oil. Mix fuel in a safe place.
Put the switch 'ON' or 'RUN'. When engine is cold, turn choke lever to closed position and squeeze priming bulb.
Allow engine to idle briefly before stopping. Put switch to OFF or STOP position.
Start engine and increase rpm by depressing throttle lever. Cutting head begins to rotate as rpm increases.
Do not smoke or light fires near brush cutter. Always stop engine when refueling.
Ensure no one is within 10 m. NEVER operate with safety guard removed. Clear work area.
Troubleshooting for engine not starting due to spark plug, ignition, fuel, or compression issues.
