Use 2-wire twisted pair shielded cable with AWG. No. 16 to No. 20 (1.25 mm

to 0.5 mm

) for cabling between the monitor and the magnetic pickup. Do not
wire the cables together in high tension ducts.

Connect the shielded wires to the COM terminal.
Keep the unshielded portion of cables at connecting parts as short as possible.
(less than 100mm recommended.)
3 Do not connect the shielded wires to the connector shell.
• In the case of the input signal from a magnetic pickup, the output voltage (pk-pk) of
the magnetic pickup varies depending on the size of gear teeth, the set gap, rotation
speed, etc., and under certain conditions may become high voltage. Therefore, stay
within a range in which the output voltage of the magnetic pickup does not exceed
the monitor input voltage range (100Vpk-pk).
• Make sure to turn the power off before wiring work to prevent accidents due to
electric shock.
