3.2 Structure and function
The safety relay ReLy HAND1 is an electrical switching device with inputs and outputs.
T
he safety capable inputs of the safety relay are connected to 2 control devices.
The control devices control the internal relays, which reliably switch the enabling current
paths.
The enabling current paths close only when the two control devices are actuated within
0.5s (concurrence monitoring).
At the enabling current paths it is possible to connect, for example, actuators with
positively guided contacts.
