Wiring of the signal sensors using a 40-pin front connector
1. The module integration time for 400Hz rejection is shown in HW Config. to be 2.5 mS. However, to meet the required
15 bits (+ sign) resolution specified, an integration time of 10 mS is required.
2. The module update with wire-break detection enabled is the basic conversion time +25 mS. The response to a step
input change is guaranteed to be 2 times the module update rate with wire-break detection enabled. The module
update rate with wire-break detection disabled is at best the integration time. However, due to the time required to
process the input channels, this time is not guaranteed. The response to a step input change is guaranteed to be 4
times the integration time with wire-break detection disabled.
3. The rejection of common-mode interference and crosstalk between inputs is >130db when the selected interference
frequency is 10Hz, 50Hz, or 60Hz. When the selected interference frequency is 400Hz, the rejection of common-mode
interference and crosstalk between inputs is >110db.
4. The operational error limit comprises only the basic error of the analog input at Ta = 25 °C and the total temperature
error. The total error must include the compensation error of the cold reference junction. Internal compensation of the
reference junction = max. 1.5 °C External compensation of the reference junction = precision of external RTD
employed ± 0.1 °C. External compensation of the reference junction which maintains the reference junction at 0 °C or
50 °C = precision of temperature control for the reference junction.
5. It is recommended for measuring thermocouples that a 100 mS integration time be used. The use of smaller integration
times will increase the repeatability error of the temperature readings.
6. Because of the slight rise within the range of approx. 0 °C to 85 °C, the lack of compensation for the reference junction
temperature only has a negligible effect on a type B thermocouple. If there is no compensation, and the measurement
type "Compensation to 0 °C" is set, the deviation at the type B thermocouple during temperature measurement is: 200
°C to 1802 °C < 0.5 °C
