Analog input module SM 331; AI 6 x TC Isolated (6ES7331‑7PE10‑0AB0)
20 A5E02398493-02, 11/2008
Preconditions
The calibration functionality can be utilized exclusively for distributed use, in connection with PDM ("Process Device
Manager").
To utilize the module’s calibration functionalities, PDM starting with V6.0 + SP3 + HF2 is needed in connection with the
HSP158 or PDM starting with V6.0 + SP4, as well as the EDD for ET200M
"DP_IOSystem_Siemens_ET200M_Module.Device", starting with version V1.1.10
User calibration is not allowed when the AI 6 x TC module is used in redundant mode.
Entry Point of the Calibration Functionality
The calibration function of the module is entered in PDM using Device -> Calibration of the selected module.
Figure Calibration Function
After the calibration function is started, the basic screen of the calibration is displayed. After each new selection of a
channel, the module immediately reads the following general information data and calibration values.
General Information Data:
● Measuring Range: Currently parameterized, measuring range of the selected channel
● Date: Date and time when the displayed calibration values were determined
● Calibration: Indicates whether the currently active calibration values are factory calibration values or user calibration
values
