In the Setup menu, you can configure:
a language, unit metering, call diversion
and security. You can also enable GSM
services for your telephone.
You can set the language. The setting
"Automatic" sets the language normally
used by your "home" network provider.
Press.

Select the required language

The time is entered in hh:mm format
and the date in DD/MM/YYYY format.

Enter the time and date.
Confirm your entry.
Switch Time Display On/Off
Press. The Time/Date dis-
play is switched on/off.
The network provider can offer prepaid
services.
A unit limit can be set on special SIM
cards. After this limit has been reached
the telephone is locked to outgoing
calls.
You can check how many units have
been used and how many are remain-
ing.
The number of units used is displayed.
Press.
The number of units still remaining is
displayed.
Depending on the language selected,
the date format can vary to read MM/
DD/YYYY.
The existing values are overwritten
when a new time or date is entered.
Invalid entries are not accepted
(e.g. 32 as the date value).
Displaying the time in standby mode
increases the power consumption of
the telephone.
