The following safety precautions
should be taken when the telephone is
ringing:

The unit must be switched
off in an aircraft. Make sure
that the unit is not switched
on while you are in the air-
craft.
Do not use near petrol sta-
tions, fuel depots, chemical
plants or blasting operations.
Do not use in hospitals or
near medical equipment
such as pacemakers or hear-
ing aids.
Minor interference may af-
fect TVs, radios, PCs, etc.
Use the specially designed
Car Kit while driving.
Do not dismantle phone or
battery.
We recommend that you use
only Original Siemens batter-
ies/ charging units. Other-
wise you may be at risk of
considerable damage to
health and property.
Exhausted batteries should
be disposed of in accordance
with legal requirements.
We recommend you use
only Original Siemens
accessories to avoid possi-
ble damage.
When the telephone is ring-
ing, first press the call key.
Ensure that the telephone
has ceased ringing before
holding the handset to your
ear.
If the handset starts to ring
while you are holding it to
your ear, remove it from your
ear immediately.
