Turning On the Answering Machine
Remotely
If you forgot to turn on your answering machine,
you may switch it on remotely. Let your telephone
ring approximately 15 times.
Dial your own telephone number.
Let your telephone ring for approximately one
minute (15 rings).
You will hear: “Please enter PIN ”.
Enter the system PIN (cannot be the default PIN
0000, (see page 45)).
Your answering machine is now turned on.
For remote replay, your telephone must sup-
port tone dialing (DTMF). You can hear a tone
when you press a key. If not, you must use a
tone generator (available in stores).
